Temple

Well the girls have another picture to add to their album. We stayed in a hotel across from the snake river, overlooking the Idaho Falls Temple. This is the view from just outside our door. We were going to take more pictures the next day but it snowed that night and it was cold.
We had a great visit with my older sister (10 months older) and her family. We were also able to visit Jim's dad and step mother in Burley, Idaho. Tomorrow my little sister(1 minute younger) is coming! Busy,Busy- details to come!

Guess who's Birthday?

Just wanted to wish my dad a happy birthday. He is King for a day! To sum my dad up in a sentence for those that do not know him- He is the best dad in the world!
Thought I would share a few pictures with you dad. A little stroll down memory lane.


We always loved the Dolphin Dinners. (i.e. Seafood feast) If you notice your arm dad, that is your conversation pose. Whenever you sit like that we knew dinner was not over because it was time to just sit, chat, and laugh!

I do believe Brady gets his competitive drive from you. This picture is proof. We all ducked for cover because it was starting to rain. Not you and Brady, you guys had to finish to see who would win!

Always having fun with the grandkids ( I remember you being very active with us when we were little as well) Do you remember this picture? You came to the lake house after work and you jumped off the dock clothes,wallet,hat, keys and all!

Through the eyes of a child!

We are in the process of getting the girls moved downstairs. We have painted the walls a happy yellow color. We thought it would be fun to go to Temple Square to take pictures of flowers so we could enlarge them and put them on the walls. I gave each girl a camera and let them take any pictures they wanted. (The beauty of digital!) It was a fun day for just us girls. We saw a few bride and grooms taking pictures and talked a little about what it is like to get married. Their questions were cute. It will be a remember when moment for me. It was a little chilly at times. (I guess that is Utah for you. Monday we were at the park playing kick ball in shorts and t-shirts!) It was still beautiful. Over 200 pictures were taken. I thought I would share a few. Megan's favorites that she took are the header picture and the 3rd one down of the small white flowers. I think Katie liked all of them.












We still have to play around with zooming in really close and cropping some for the room. The girls and I think it would be cool to keep a scrap book of them standing in front of a lot of different Temples as they grow up. We joked about how we should tell their dad that we want the next picture in front of the Hawaii Temple!

Cameron's piano recital

Cameron has been taking lessons for a while now. He has taken off this year and has found that he likes it. He even asked if he could continue with lessons during the summer-Makes my heart happy! (and Jim's wallet a little lighter) You can tell that he was not feeling well the day I filmed this. I had some time to get it posted today so he was nice for me!

Megan's performance

This is Megan's first year of taking piano lessons. She loves her group lessons and her teacher. She was a little nervous at her first recital. (3 judges listening can be a little intimidating) After getting rid of a few jitters she did really well and received a superior.
