What is your favorite animal?

Katie really wanted to go to the Bean museum on BYU campus for her birthday outing.  It really is a great museum for those that live close enough.  (And it's free!)  We had fun looking at all of the animals and we each picked our favorites.  The girl's and I have been a few times so we try to pick different favorites each time.  The picks this trip....


Katie picked a (looking at the name plate) Marmot.

Mema picked a(can't read the name plate) blue chested bird thingy!

Jim picked a Duck.  (Not a very masculine pick there Jim-But I guess real men can pick what they want- If you don't believe me look at what my dad picked!)

 Meg and Dad picked a beautiful butterfly.  Well if you look close it is hundreds of butterflies making the shape of one.

 Everyone else went with the little animals.  So my pick was a big one- See, this is me being big!

 What makes for a good day? Breakfast at Cracker Barrel.  Seeing lion's tigers and bears at the Museum.  Eating ice cream at the BYU creamery.  Spending the day with family.  Yes, that will do it.

grandparents day

It sure was nice to have grandparents day during the time my mom was visiting from Florida. Katie and Megan were pretty excited to have their Mema come to their class's to read a Dr. Seuss book.  They picked one that was quite the tongue twister- but mema pulled it off with ease.

Yep- that is as crazy as she gets! (It is wavy with a clip instead of straight with a clip!  She is so daring)

meg talent show

Megan was in her school talent show with a few of her friends. I never thought I would see the day that she would do something like this. She has a great group of friends and they sure had fun creating this little routine together! (Go to the end of my blog page and pause my music so you can listen to the video) I'm not sure why the video came out blurry in the transfer to my blog-but you get the idea!
