Next stop...Nauvoo! This was one of my favorite stops. Loved the cute little town and all of the things to see here.
The adults enjoyed a session in the Temple. The ones old enough did baptisms for the dead. The Temple was beautiful and the spirit was powerful.
I am going to have to get some pictures from Rebecca of all of the sites we saw in Nauvoo! We saw so many historical places and shows and also saw the pageant before we left. Here is a little map of some of the sites we saw!
Some favorites of the sites....Ginger Bread cookies from the bakery. The Brick yard where the kids got nail rings. The carriage ride through some sites. For sure the Temple! The kids were finally able to swim. And it was nice to visit while eating and watching the kids swim.
Going to have to ask dad if he know anything about Mrs. W. Hand who died crossing the plains.
